IPD is a Green Garage Assessor

International Parking Design (IPD) is proud to announce that we are now a Green Garage Assessor certified by the Green Parking Council. In May of 2011, The U.S. Green Building Council eliminated LEED Certification for parking garages. The Green Parking Council has filled this gap with the release of the Green Garage Certification Standard.

More recently, in December 2014, the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), the certification body for the U.S. Green Building Council’s global LEED® green building rating system, signed a memorandum of understanding with the International Parking Institute association, and the Green Parking Council (GPC). This agreement substantiates the importance of the Green Garage Certification Standard.
