The Dole Westlake Village Hotel & Spa Parking Structure serves a unique complex consisting of a Four Seasons Hotel, spa, convention center, television studio and a variety of restaurants. The parking structure supports the hotel guest/visitor, valet, and employee parking for the complex, and also contains storage rooms, a parking management office, and fan rooms for the mechanical ventilation of the first level.
The parking structure is situated on the site to integrate into the landscape. The grade is sloped cut on three sides to the second level, providing both natural light and ventilation, and thus requiring mechanical ventilation of only the first level. Because of its integration into the landscape, there are never more than two levels above grade and in fact, the north side of the parking structure is only one level above grade.
