The Irvine Spectrum Center’s recent expansion of retail anchor stores created the need for two additional parking structures. The north parking structure is located to accommodate moviegoers and retail shoppers. The west parking structure includes a pedestrian bridge linking the roof of the garage to the first level of Nordstrom.
Both structures have a car counting system located at the drive-in entrance, indicating available spaces on each level to assist users in quickly identifying the location of available space, thereby avoiding a floor-by-floor search. The façade of the parking structure blends with the surrounding stores at the Irvine Spectrum.
