Built in the City of Irvine, this parking garage serves Amtrak, Metrolink and Orange County Transportation Authority riders.
The structure encompasses four levels on three stories. Each level is approximately 120,000 square feet, equivalent to 2.2 football fields. Three elevators are located at the main exit pathways, with a fourth on the opposite end. To advise users of empty stalls on each floor, the parking structure is equipped with a state-of-the-art electronic car counting system.
"with IPD's knowledge and support, we were able to include 6,728 SF of ground level shell space for future transit-supportive retail, space provisions for use by additonal ZevNet Electric Vehicles, the incorporation of sustainalbe design principles adn "green building" criteria, incorporation of a state-of-the-art video surveillance system, incorporation of way-finding signage throughout Irvine Station, and the incorporation of landscaping and hardscape to enhance the circulation pedestrian environment within and around teh structure.
