The 6th & K Parkade provides parking for the Gaslamp Quarter, East Village, Convention Center and the San Diego Padres Ballpark. The below-grade parking level serves as valet for the Omni Hotel located across the street. Retail space on the ground level of the structure is located along K Street with restaurants and sidewalk seating along L Street. A public gathering area is designed on the Ballpark side of the garage for events prior to game time.
The structure has a double helix ramping system which allows the five-story garage to be easily loaded and unloaded for events at the Ballpark and Convention Center.
