Located in downtown San Mateo, the Main Street Parking Structure includes 3,500 square feet of retail space at the ground level. Exterior design elements of the parking structure complement the nearby theatre by including painted stucco, concrete and ceramic tile with metal decorative trim and specially designed light fixtures. The pedestrian area extends from First to Third Avenue and is approximately 20 feet wide and features new paving, bollards, street and overhead lighting, planting, irrigation, gates, signage and provisions for emergency vehicle access.
