The North Park Parking Structure project is a joint venture between the San Diego Redevelopment Agency and a Private Developer. The structure was built to support the needs of patrons of the North Park Theatre and the North Park Community at large. The historical North Park Theatre, which is also currently undergoing renovation by the North Park Theatre LLC, will provide a venue for performing arts in North Park.
The structure contains 388 stalls on six levels. The ground level includes 14,000 square feet of retail lease space fronting the public sidewalk. In addition, provisions have been made to integrate 3 lanes of drive-through banking into the North side of the structure.
