The 360-space, 5-level Clark Garage located at the Palo Alto Medical Center complements the architecture of the existing campus without mimicking its "Mediterranean" style. Extensive campus landscaping on the ground is echoed in concrete planters which form the exposed edges of the upper parking decks.
An additional design element is the beautiful stone cladding on the major shear wall which serves as a visual anchor for the building and the public space it faces.
