The East Parking Structure is an exciting architectural statement at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. The facility features a distinctive, circular stairwell at the front of the building with a dramatic concrete "flying buttress" guiding users directly to the parking. The facade is painted in warm, welcoming hues and is softened by landscape planters along the perimeter on all five levels. A plaza highlighted with a fountain, benches, planters and trees links the parking to the main entrance of the hospital and serves as an inviting outdoor living room for waiting patients, visitors and staff.
