In order to be sensitive to the adjacent residential neighborhood, the four-level structure was designed one level below grade to reduce the height to that of a two-story home. All exterior walls adjacent to residential property are without openings in order to reduce the effect of noise and light.
The functional design consists of 90-degree parking with two-way traffic flow. The structure’s four bays are sloped on the west half for vertical circulation between levels and to reduce the building’s height.
