Located in the northeastern corner of the La Jolla Village Square Shopping Center Site, the Nobel Drive Trolley Station Parking Structure sits directly adjacent to the newly expanded light rail “Blue Line.” With service between the Mexican Border and the University Town Center in La Jolla, the “Blue Line” is the longest of three lines in the trolley system. The five level, 627 stall parking structure not only serves the trolley station but provides additional parking for the retail center. Glass-backed elevators at both the north and south ends of the structure allow convenient access to all parking levels. The north elevator also provides direct access to bridge connecting the 4^th level of the structure with the elevated trolley station. User amenities include a stall counting system to inform users of the quantity of stalls available on each level, electric vehicle charging stations, enclosed bicycle storage and the ability to reserve parking. The rooftop of the structure includes fabric shade canopies as well as a photovoltaic array mounted on canopies above parking stalls.
