Mater Dei High School is a private Catholic high school well-known for its academics, arts and athletic programs. As part of a campus-wide expansion, a new parking structure and academic building add four acres to the site. With an increase in student enrollment, the garage provides much needed relief for the parking shortage on campus, and serves students, faculty, staff and visitors. The garage also supports the upcoming performing arts center project and various large events held at the school.

The parking structure is designed to be architecturally consistent with the other buildings on campus, and features a CMU brick elevator core, backlit logo sign, and a dark gray and red branded color scheme with metallic silver accents. The structure improves safety on campus and a dedicated security guard patrols the garage. An extensive amount of landscaping and vegetated bio-swales surround the garage which softens the appearance of the building. Drought-tolerant trees and shrubs are a major part of an ecological storm drain system design that meets or exceeds the state green code requirements. Cross-shaped green screens are used on the east and south façades facing the residential neighborhood and the public street to reduce the visibility of the structure. The rooftop level includes provisions for a photovoltaic array.
